Payroll Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations for a growing organization in Southborough, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while driving process improvements and supporting a high-performing payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple pay groups

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

+ Oversee payroll audits, reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes

+ Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy in payroll systems

+ Partner with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related matters

+ Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner

+ Identify and implement payroll process improvements and internal controls

+ Supervise and mentor payroll staff as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership or management responsibilities

+ Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

+

Experience with payroll systems such as Workday or ADP

+ Proficiency in payroll reporting, reconciliations, and internal accounting controls

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred

+ CPP certification is a plus
