Are you a seasoned accountant with a knack for inventory, journal entries, and general ledger operations? Are you passionate about crunching numbers and providing financial insights? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a challenge and has a desire to make a significant impact on the business.

This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining the company's inventory records, including reconciliations and adjustments.

Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

Updating and maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and policies as well as regulatory requirements.

Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborating with other team members to support overall department goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on inventory, journal entries, and general ledger.

Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and other business systems.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
