Senior Market Research Analyst & Consultant

We help technology companies, investors, and private equity firms make better strategic decisions through market intelligence, commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and product strategy.

We'  looking for Senior Market Research Analysts to join our growing team. In this role, you ll lead consulting and market research engagements, working directly with clients on projects involving market opportunity assessments, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, product strategy, and growth strategy.

• Lead qualitative and quantitative research engagements from project design through final presentation.
• Conduct executive interviews with technology suppliers, end users, channel partners, and industry experts.
• Develop market forecasts, competitive assessments, supplier analyses, and market sizing models.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and strategic insights.
• Support commercial due diligence, product strategy, market expansion, and growth strategy engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior executives, technology companies, and private equity firms.
• Create thought leadership including white papers, webinars, and industry presentations.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a collaborative consulting team.

• 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, market research, competitive intelligence, or industry analysis.
• Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Experience with market forecasting, competitive intelligence, market sizing, or commercial due diligence.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve research and consulting workflows.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Our work spans the operational and industrial technology landscape. Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: AI, industrial software, robotics, IoT, edge computing, embedded systems, OT cybersecurity, connectivity, product lifecycle management, and related technologies.

At VDC, you ll work directly with technology companies, investors, and private equity firms on projects that shape business strategy. From evaluating acquisitions to forecasting emerging markets and developing growth strategies, you ll own projects from research through executive presentation while working alongside an experienced consulting team.
