Early Education Teacher – Infants/Toddlers

Monday–Friday | Regular Day Shift

Position Type: 13-Week Contract (Potential for Extension)

Pay Rate: $29.00–$32.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Education Teacher to join a welcoming childcare center in Walpole, MA. This is a 13-week contract position working with infants and toddlers in a nurturing, play-based learning environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys fostering meaningful relationships with young children and families, and is committed to supporting each child's growth through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily activities that promote infants' and toddlers' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, learning, and positive interactions.
  • Supervise children at all times while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Support children's daily routines, including feeding, diapering, toileting, naptime, and transitions with patience and care.
  • Observe and document children's developmental progress and communicate milestones and daily updates with families.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and fellow staff members to provide consistent, high-quality care and instruction.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other center activities as required.
