Land Surveyor - will train (instrument operator

Established land surveying firm is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Instrument Operator/Field Technician on a survey crew. Will train but some experience is preferred.

• Perform various land surveying tasks, under the direction of a survey crew chief, including boundary line, topographic, utility and construction surveys.
• Operate, transport and care for land surveying instruments including total stations, data collectors, GPS and other land surveying equipment.
• Ability to learn and use surveying instruments.
• Ability to use basic hand tools such as a sledge hammer and shovel used to install stakes and field reconnaissance.
