Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med‑surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long‑term acute care unit.

• Receives and transports patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination.
• Documents request for services to provide an accurate and timely tracking system.
• Maintains wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other equipment in clean, sanitary condition and proper working order (e.g., oiling wheels).
• Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
• Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed.
• Cleans all equipment as assigned, assists other employees as directed, and may assist with clerical work in the department as time permits.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience: Patient transportation or customer service experience (preferred)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (preferred)
