• Provides direct clinical patient care, assesses, plans, and implements care for assigned patients.
• Supervises staff and delegates appropriate care.
• Ensures high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective nursing care and manages resources.
• Coordinates and integrates patient care using the nursing process.
• Directs care per established safety, risk management, QI, and infection control standards to achieve optimal discharge.
• Plans and coordinates care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Performs HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles during emergencies and disasters.
• Familiar with hospital emergency codes, their purpose, and correct actions, adhering to hospital policies.
• Performs related duties as required.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a state‑approved school of nursing or accredited school.
• Certification:
  Current license, certificate or registration to practice the RN profession as required by law or state regulations.
• CPR certification.

• Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s).
