Varsity Boys Soccer Coach

Reports to: Athletic Director

Major Duties and Responsibilities (duties and responsibilities listed may include, but are not limited to, the following):

• Accountable for the entire program, and will oversee all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, the safety and inventory of athletic equipment.
• Communicate with the Athletic Director concerning any incidents that arise with student athletes or parental concerns.
• Has had prior coaching experience in a college, high school, or in a successful club program.
• Promote academics before athletics by monitoring academic performance and enforcing eligibility.
• Allow all student athletes the opportunity to compete in the sport while promoting sportsmanship.
• Build a positive relationship with the community to promote the sport.
• Demonstrate all skills, drills and fundamentals of the sport.
• Manage and take inventory of all equipment.
• Be present at all weekend activities.
• Supervise athletes before practices, during/after practices and during activities/events.
• Attend coaching meetings as assigned.
• Evaluate the progress of the student athletes.
• Assist with fundraising along with promoting community support and awareness.
• Set scrimmages, game schedules, and practice schedules for the program.
• Perform all other duties that are assigned by the Athletic Director.
