CNC Machinist

Situated in Southbridge, MA, this 1st shift opportunity runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to contribute to our production department, where you will manage CNC equipment setup and operation to ensure all manufactured components meet our rigorous quality and output requirements.

• Configure and run CNC machinery to support production goals.
• Execute necessary tool swaps, adjustments, and compensations.
• Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and detailed specifications.
• Utilize various inspection instruments and gages to verify part accuracy and quality standards.
• Observe equipment performance and perform necessary fine-tuning.
• Operate a range of hardware including mills, lathes, drills, punch presses, and deburring tools.
• Help maintain a safe and compliant working environment for the entire team.
• Manage the full production cycle of parts from initial print to final completion.

• Minimum of one year of professional machining background, with three or more years being ideal.
• Proven proficiency in CNC machine setup and daily operation.
• Practical experience handling tool offsets, changes, and compensations.
• Strong ability to comprehend and apply engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in the application of precision measuring devices and inspection tools.
• Familiarity with Mazak or Swiss machinery is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of machine shop math and GD&T principles is highly valued.
• Completion of vocational education or relevant industry certifications is a plus.
