Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Southbridge, MA

Make a meaningful impact by providing essential support to a medically complex student as a 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This part-time contract opportunity is tailored for a healthcare professional with strong clinical skills and a passion for supporting students in a school environment. The role involves transportation supervision for a student attending an out-of-district program. Youll work closely with educational staff and families to ensure the students safety and well-being throughout their school day and commute.

  • Contract dates: 8/24/2026 6/14/2027
  • Work hours:

    5 days a week, 8:00 AM 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM 5:00 PM
  • Location:

    Near Southbridge, MA

Qualifications:
  • Active Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or similar settings
  • Training or comfort working with medically complex students
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and transportation providers
  • Dependable, compassionate, and quick to respond in a changing environment
Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 supervision and medical support during transportation to and from the students educational program
  • Monitor and address the students healthcare needs, intervening as necessary
  • Maintain clear documentation of care provided each day
  • Collaborate with teaching personnel, healthcare providers, and the students family
  • Uphold all health and safety standards and individualized care protocols
