Job Overview

Originations Assistant will complete the loan application process from start to finish for potential and existing clients; preparing, analyzing, and verifying applications for the lease or refinance of vehicles. The Assistant will also function as a liaison between the Sales Team and the other departments within the organization along with servicing client and dealer needs.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Originations
    • Providing Customer Service
    • Quoting for Regions
    • Processing Credit Applications
    • Reviewing Credit Application with Underwriting as necessary
    • Tracking Deals in Process
    • Preparing Worksheets/Leases
    • Obtaining Necessary Information to Acquire Approvals and/or meet stipulations
    • Coordinating Private Party Sale Transactions
    • Assisting Sales Staff with Administrative Needs
    • Providing Sales Staff with Sales History Reports, etc. as necessary
    • Preparing Agendas and Minutes for Sales Meetings
    • Obtaining Proof of Insurance for Vehicles
    • Preparing Deals for Funding Bank
  • Preparing Leases for Customers/Dealers
    • Prepping Numbers
    • Completing Lease Checklist
    • Preparing and Sending Leases
  • Preparing Leases to Be Funded
    • Obtaining Proof of Insurance
    • Obtaining Dealer Documents
    • Obtaining any required DMV Documents
    • Arranging for Private Party Transactions
    • Preparing Overnight Airbills
    • Sending Notification of Funding to Regional Sales Manager
  • Reporting and Meetings
    • Assisting Originations Manager with Reporting as needed
    • Attending Weekly Sales Meetings
    • Attending Zoom Sessions with Regional Sales Managers
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a variety of service providers including clients, dealers, banks, and vendors
  • Precise/Attention to Details
  • Ability to Multi-task/Prioritize
  • Strong Computer Skills with Standard Office Software

Education and Experience

Associate degree required, BA/BS in related field preferred
