Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Location: Southend-on-Sea

We are seeking a Level 2, Level 3 (or higher) Qualified Nursery Practitioner to work in a friendly and supportive nursery setting based within a primary school in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional to support young children during a crucial stage of their development.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework

* Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing

* Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment

* Observe, assess and contribute to children’s progress

* Meet statutory Early Years ratio requirements

* Support children with personal care where required

Requirements

* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential – required for ratios)

* Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting

* A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
