What’s on Offer

Permanent full-time employment
Salary range £39,152 to £45,091 per annum
Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week on site
Comprehensive training and CPD offer designed by practitioners
Regular restorative supervision and separate development-focused supervision
One-off retention payment of £7,500 after 3 years and 1 day in post

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of children looked after following the conclusion of care proceedings
Complete statutory assessments, care planning and reviews
Undertake court-related work including revocation of care orders, contact disputes and adoption matters
Produce clear, evidence-based reports and plans for court and statutory purposes
Maintain accurate and timely case recording in line with statutory guidance and council procedures Requirements

Recognised social work qualification
Registration with Social Work England
Completion of ASYE

Experience with in children’s frontline statutory services
Knowledge of child protection, looked after children and court processes
