Field Service Engineer (Plant)
Location:
Essex
Pay: £18.00 to £20.00 per hour DOE + Regular Overtime (15–20 Hours per Week at 1.5×). OTE: £65,000+. Benefits include Company Van (personal use), Fuel Card, Door-to-Door Travel Paid, 25 Days Holiday, Bank Holidays, Laptop.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week, up to 60 Hours in overtime.
Field Service Engineer required for a leading engineering specialist experiencing growth. The role involves repair and servicing of lifting equipment in Essex ports, traveling directly to customer sites, representing the company regionally. No call‑out or weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out repair and service work on container lifting equipment across Essex ports.
- Provide service and repair of lifting equipment.
- Cover client sites in the Essex / Kent area.
- Mechanical engineer with experience working on hydraulics.
- Background in lifting equipment, plant machinery, forklifts or similar.
- Regular overtime opportunity.
- No out-of-hours call out.
- Company van for personal use.
- Fuel card and door-to-door travel paid.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Company laptop.
