Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

• Supervise and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide person‑centered care based on each resident’s care plan
• Take and record vital signs
• Perform patient care as directed by registered nurse/licensed practical nurse in a safe manner according to policy and procedure
• Respond directly to patient requests and appropriately communicate the patient's needs
• Assist in proper transfer of residents
• Document records of care for each assigned resident on each shift
• Ensure the cleanliness and dignity of each resident
• Possess effective communication skills to interact with residents, their loved ones, and other staff members

• Current nursing aide certification in North Carolina
• Works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing
