Baker Tilly US,LLP is a licensed independent CPA firm that provides attest services to its clients. Baker Tilly Advisory Group,LP and its subsidiary entities provide tax and business advisory services to their clients.
- Deliver tax, accounting and advisory services to small‑business clients.
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and the preparation or compilation of financial statements.
- Review and analyze accounting records and reporting, provide analysis and consultation, and communicate with clients about accounting and business matters.
- Provide best‑in‑class customer service, responding promptly, professionally and accurately.
- Lead and plan client engagements, continuously evaluating processes and procedures to implement efficiencies and identify internal control issues.
- Recommend business and process improvements based on knowledge of client operations and objectives.
- Manage and build client relationships, act as liaison to resolve client issues, and assist team leaders in researching and providing additional services.
- Delegate and oversee work efforts, set goals, provide resources, remove obstacles, and schedule deadlines to meet client expectations.
- Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws.
- Assist with engagement staffing, billing and collections, ensuring client profitability targets are met.
- Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
- Invest in professional development through firm‑wide learning and development programs.
- Support the growth and development of team members, helping associates meet their professional goals.
- 4‑year degree; CPA, law license or enrolled agent.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
- Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, and commit to continuous learning.
- Strong software and Microsoft Suite skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
Pay range: $101,300 to $139,690. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, qualifications, degrees, certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
