I would say maybe 40% of your day is processing, posting members payments, and answering calls/questions from membership.
Statements are generated and distributed to members monthly.
CSZ is very active, has a lot of membership events and interactions.
Experience with QBO is a must. Understanding non-profit accounting and managing/reconciling funding accounts would be extremely helpful.
Must be able to multi- task as it can get very busy during peak membership periods. (Internal and external inquiries)
Posting in QBO, bank reconciliation, reconciling special fund accounts, tracking credit/debits to accounts, creating statements.
Understanding how to set up projects in QBO would be helpful.
Working with an outside accountant for month-end and fiscal year-end closing & distributing 1099s
Bank Deposits process via scanner
Monitor bank positive pay daily
It would also help if they were familiar with the following platforms:
Shul Cloud --AR & CRM platform
QBO - Quick Books Online
Pay Chex Flex - Payroll
RAMP - AP Bill pay, vendor payments. Requirements Bookkeeping, Quick Books, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations
