Description
Seeking a highly experienced, organized, and motivated individual to join our reputable, fast-growing property management company headquartered in Southfield, MI as an on-site staff accountant.
Responsibilities Include- Monthly accounting for residential rental properties including but not limited to bank reconciliation, journal entries and accruals, and evaluation of purchases for capitalization vs expense
- Evaluation and analysis of financial reports
- Annual tax workpaper preparation and special projects as needed

RequirementsThis position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and knowledge of US GAAP.
Prior accounting experience required.
Other Requirements- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Proficiency in MRI a plus or similar property management software preferred
- Residential or Commercial real estate experience preferred
