Position: Executive Assistant - Controller / Firm Administrator

Job Description

Law Firm | Full-Time | On-Site
Salary: Approximately $65,000 annually

A well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the firm’s Controller and Firm Administrator (single leadership role). This position functions in a dual capacity
, combining executive-level administrative support with hands‑on accounting and HR responsibilities
.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive and administrative support to the Controller/Firm Administrator
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, expense tracking, and basic accounting functions
  • Support monthly reporting, account reconciliation, and financial documentation
  • Assist with HR functions including onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits support, and employee records
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and internal documentation
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and follow up on action items
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and personnel information
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in accounting/HR support
  • Strong working knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Prior exposure to HR or payroll-related responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel required)
  • Experience with accounting, billing, or HRIS systems preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary approximately $65,000
