Medical Receptionist

Company Description

We are a busy Dermatologist office seeking a full-time Receptionist.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.

• Greet and welcome patients in a professional, warmly manner
• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
• Provide information and assistance to patients and employees
• Verify patient demographics, insurance and collect copays and patient balances
• Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Handle referral authorizations and basic office paperwork as required
• Assist with various administrative tasks as assigned

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Maintain patient records and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and telephones.

• Medical receptionist experience preferred, but not required
• Customer service experience required

• Monday-Friday: 7:45am-5:30pm

• High school diploma or equivalent
