- Serves as a vital first point of contact in a customer service capacity, providing dynamic administrative and clerical support that keeps our medical practice running smoothly and ensures patients receive exceptional care from the moment they arrive.
- Pay: 15/hr-21.80/hr
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, efficiently managing check-ins and check-outs while gathering and verifying essential demographic information to ensure accurate records.
- Navigate insurance requirements strategically by obtaining and verifying authorizations and precertifications, processing medical record releases, and coordinating appointment scheduling to optimize patient care flow.
- Drive financial accuracy by entering, reviewing, and submitting daily charges for patient procedures and services, collecting co-payments, and reconciling deposits to maintain the integrity of our financial operations.
- Support the team by providing comprehensive office and clerical assistance that enables your colleagues to focus on delivering excellent patient care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
