Why join us?

At Horse Powertrain, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career while making a difference. This is a dynamic, international environment, staffed by caring and collaborative people. If you’re ready to create excellence with us, you’ll be appreciated and rewarded.

What You'll Be Doing

You will partner with the VP Partnerships & M&A to define and secure Horse’s U.S. market entry strategy by developing a local industrial footprint, strategic partnerships, and value-accretive M&A opportunities aligned with product, technology, and manufacturing priorities. Lead the end-to-end execution of approved U.S. transactions, translating strategic intent into operational reality through deal execution, regulatory approvals, and post-deal industrial integration.

  • Lead end-to-end execution of U.S. M&A and partnership transactions, from opportunity assessment and due diligence through negotiation, closing, and post-closing integration.
  • Build and manage a U.S. partnership pipeline with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, technology firms, energy players, universities, and innovation ecosystems aligned with Horse’s corporate and product strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across Engineering, R&D, Industrial Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Finance, and Legal to validate strategic, technical, financial, and operational assumptions.
  • Support negotiation and review of transaction documentation (e.g., Asset Purchase Agreements, JV and partnership contracts) in close collaboration with Finance and Legal teams.
  • Drive regulatory and government approval processes in the U.S. (e.g., CFIUS, ICTS, environmental and investment incentives) in alignment with Public Affairs and external advisors.
  • Act as the primary operational interface with U.S. authorities, potential partners, and external stakeholders, while ensuring strong cross-functional alignment across Horse Powertrain and its global functions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and manage external advisors (legal, financial, tax, technical, and regulatory) to ensure timely, high-quality, and aligned deliverables.
  • Lead post-deal industrial and operational development planning with Engineering, R&D, and Industrial teams to ensure successful integration and value realization.
What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record and experience in strategic partnerships, M&A, business development, or government relations within multinational or industrial environments.
  • Proven track record managing cross-border transactions and complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. industrial, regulatory, and investment environments, particularly in automotive, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and public-private partnership or incentive frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills with senior corporate and government stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities with a results-oriented, operational mindset.
  • Native-level English proficiency and demonstrated cross-cultural leadership in global matrix organizations.
