Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist Demand Planning.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $130,000 a year.

Job Summary:
The Demand Planner owns the creation and refinement of the demand plan across different levels of granularity — product, customer, and region — over short to long-term horizons. This role consolidates data inputs from statistical models, commercial teams, and market intelligence to drive a reliable demand signal for planning and decision‑making.
- Own the Demand Signal:
Consolidate all sources of demand (statistical forecast, EDI, customer discussions, market intelligence) into a single, validated plan. - Monthly Sales Data Preparation:
Gather and structure data for forecasting purposes. - Historical Data Analysis & Statistical Forecasting:
Cleanse historical sales data and generate baseline statistical forecasts. - Forecast Adjustments Coordination:
Work with PLMs/BUDs for NPI/EOL and Sales for special events; validate and clarify inconsistencies.
Consensus Demand Creation:
Collect, challenge, and consolidate commercial inputs to build a robust consensus demand plan. - Facilitate Demand Review Meetings:
Engage Sales, Product, and Finance to validate assumptions and adjust forecasts. - Visualization & Reporting:
Present demand planning results at country and sales area level. - Cross-Functional Alignment:
Coordinate closely with Supply Planning and S&OE teams to ensure short-term execution aligns with long-term projections. - KPI Management:
Define, monitor, and report demand planning KPIs, with a strong focus on forecast accuracy. - Ensure supported site material plans and min/max levels are aligned to the site demand and production plans.
- Lead communications during Executive SIOP with detailed inputs to the demand plan drivers for variances. Measure and report actual vs. planned performance overall by market segment (product line), customer locations, product family, model mix, etc.
- Time Horizons:
Manage both S&OE (0–3 months) and SIOP (3–18+ months) planning horizons. - Decision-Making:
Make trade‑off decisions on forecast adjustments to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years in Manufacturing Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP).
- Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production scheduling, capacity analysis, inventory management.
- Working experience with MRP software systems (SAP, etc.).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. - Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or Business Analytics.
- Previous experience in Automotive sector.
