Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Carrier’s primary representative on assigned construction projects, advocating for the company’s interests and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Monitor construction activities through regular site presence and participation in project meetings, ensuring work is progressing safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
  • Review and independently assess multimillion‑dollar project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, and monitor financial performance.
  • Provide regular, clear reporting to senior leadership on project status, budget performance, schedule adherence, risks, and issues; serve as a key liaison between the field team and Carrier’s management.
  • Identify potential risks and work with the on‑site team to implement mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing project disruptions.
  • Review and evaluate budget estimates, project schedules, change orders, and risk assessments on behalf of Carrier, ensuring contractual and financial commitments are properly managed.
  • Make real‑time decisions in collaboration with the on‑site project team, provide immediate approvals within the overall DOA framework, and seek additional approvals from senior leadership when necessary.
  • Oversee subcontractors, verifying compliance with contract documents, codes, and safety requirements; validate quality of work, coordinate with other trades, keep work aligned to approved documents and schedules, and support commissioning and project close‑out.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Engineering.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with significant leadership responsibility on large‑scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an owner’s representative, in project controls, or in construction oversight capacity.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and project portfolios.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and digital tools.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, multi‑stakeholder environment while independently representing and protecting the interests of Carrier.
Pay Range

Annual salary ranges from $ to $, based on skills, education, experience, and other qualifying factors.
