Brief Description
Responsible for producing high-quality digital and video content that supports SME’s brand, programs, and strategic initiatives. This role serves as a hands‑on content producer, contributing to concept development, scripting, on‑camera delivery, recording, editing, and post‑production across multiple platforms.
Major Functions- Create and publish compelling, written, recorded and live video, and audio content across digital channels.
- Edit video and audio content to support digital content initiatives
- Serve as on camera and audio talent for digital channels as needed.
- Capture and reflect SME’s brand voice, tone, and perspective across all content executions.
- Support and develop digital content strategies that align with initiatives and business goals.
- Manage and maintain the digital content calendar in alignment with broader campaigns and business goals.
- Coordinate and track timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics for assigned content initiatives.
- Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms, responding to comments and messages as appropriate to support community engagement.
- Assist with reporting on content performance and provide insights to inform future content efforts.
- Monitor digital content trends and apply best practices to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness, producing high-quality content.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- At least 4 years of professional experience creating written, video and audio content in professional marketing, communications, journalism, or a related environment
- Experience serving as on-camera and/or audio talent
- Experience with video and audio editing
- Strong storytelling skills across digital formats
- Project management experience preferred
- Ability to consistently apply brand voice and messaging across content formats.
- Hands‑on experience using digital content creation, editing, analytics, and publishing tools to produce, manage, and evaluate content performance (e.g., Google Analytics; video and audio editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie; remote recording tools; and publishing platforms).
- Highly organized. with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or technology-related fields preferred, along with the ability to quickly learn about complex subject matter and convey information in an easy-to-understand manner.

The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $103,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Offers typically fall within this range based on individual qualifications and budget availability. In addition to base salary, SME offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) with company matching, generous paid time off and holidays, professional development and training opportunities, and additional wellness and work‑life balance benefits.
Certain positions may also be eligible for bonus/incentive compensation, subject to role and company policies.
