Care Team Representative
Entry-Level – Care Team Representative
Location:
Southfield, MI (300 Galleria Office Center, Southfield, MI 48034). Applicants must live near the center.

Provide excellent service to callers handling claims: expedite claims process, document claim notes, resolve issues in a single‑contact fashion, and direct calls to escalation when necessary.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Act as primary liaison with callers from multiple client accounts.
- Assist with questions and solve problems related to claims application and servicing processes.
- Perform claim intake and customer support within regulatory, company, and client expectations.
- Educate customers on documentation, time‑frames, payment information, and claim status.
- Document all required details concisely and professionally.
- Enter verbal and written claim information accurately into the system.
- Direct calls to appropriate contacts or escalations.
- Attend scheduled work hours consistently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
One year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; inbound call center experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- PC literate – Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
- Minimum typing speed as required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to support multiple clients across communication channels and systems.
- Team or independent work capability.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
- Ability to meet attendance expectations.
