Endocrinologist – Obesity & Metabolic MedicineWe’re seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist with experience in obesity and metabolic medicine to join a mission-driven healthcare organization expanding its specialty services. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care for complex endocrine and metabolic conditions through an integrated model that combines medical weight management (including GLP-1 therapies) with lifestyle and behavioral support.
What You’ll DoProvide individualized care for patients with obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, thyroid disorders, PCOS
, and related endocrine conditions.
Lead comprehensive weight-management programs using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies.
Manage treatments including GLP-1s, insulin therapy, hormone management
, and lifestyle interventions.
Perform and oversee key endocrine diagnostics and procedures such as thyroid ultrasound/FNA, CGM, insulin pump management, bone density testing
, and dynamic endocrine testing.
Collaborate with primary care and specialty teams to support complex case management.
Contribute to program development, clinical protocols, and long-term outcomes tracking within an expanding obesity and endocrinology service line.
RequirementsQualifications
Education & Licensure
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Endocrinology (required)
- Obesity Medicine experience or Obesity Medicine taxonomy strongly preferred
- Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license
- Eligible and in good standing with Medicare and Medicaid
Experience
- Preferred2 years of post-residency experience
managing patients with endocrine and/or metabolic disorders - Demonstrated expertise in advanced endocrine procedures (see above)
- Familiarity with value-based care and integrated, multidisciplinary delivery models
