Instructional Designer

Location: Southfield, MI (On-Site)

In this role, you’ll partner with subject matter experts and operational leaders to design impactful training programs, e-learning courses, and educational resources for clinical, operational, and corporate teams. • Apply the ADDIE instructional design model to develop engaging and effective learning solutions.
• Design interactive e-learning courses using tools such as Canva, Google NotebookLM, Articulate 360, H5P, and Moodle LMS.
• Create instructor‑led training materials, job aids, SOPs, videos, guides, and blended learning content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.

• Manage multiple instructional design projects from concept through implementation.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and gap analyses.
• Maintain project timelines while ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Partner with Training, Operations, HR, and clinical leaders to identify learning needs.
• Align training objectives with business priorities and learner needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on learner feedback and performance data.
• Stay current on instructional design best practices, learning technologies, and emerging trends.

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field.
• Experience designing e‑learning and instructor‑led training programs.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM‑compliant content.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Experience with Moodle LMS.
• Experience using Articulate 360, Canva, H5P, Google NotebookLM, or similar instructional design tools.
• Healthcare and/or higher education experience.
• Experience developing multimedia learning content and instructional videos.
