Infrastructure Engineer (Google Workspace)
Oakland County, Michigan (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
$74,000 - $77,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits
OverviewWe’re partnering with a large, mission-driven organization to hire a Google Workspace Infrastructure Engineer focused on managing and optimizing enterprise collaboration and identity platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting and modernizing a Google Workspace environment.
Responsibilities- Administer & optimize Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups, collaboration tools)
- Manage enterprise email systems including routing, security, and performance
- Support identity and access management (Entra , SSO, MFA, DNS)
- Maintain and monitor core infrastructure across cloud and hosted environments
- Develop automation scripts and improve system efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally to support platform integrations and modernization efforts
- 3+ years of experience with Google Workspace administration
- Experience with enterprise email systems
- Strong knowledge of identity / access management (Entra , SSO, MFA)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, security, certificates)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Scripting experience (Power Shell or similar)
- Experience in public sector, education, or large-scale non-profit environments
- Exposure to virtualization (VMware, etc.)
