Data Engineer (Job Code: 1391) DutiesResponsible for supporting vehicle feature level performance sign-offs through data exploration and analysis of data collected from real-world evaluation drives; work with vehicle feature and function owners, as well as verification and validation (V&V) teams, to understand metrics and use cases and to develop and refine tools and scripts to detect and trace requirement failures and problematic scenarios in real-world data;
track issues in JIRA; participate in regular meetings to monitor and report progress to management; develop and validate Active Safety and Driver Assistance Systems features and technologies through data exploration and analysis; support design verification plans by analyzing resulting data and delivering reports and dashboards demonstrating compliance with internal and external requirements; utilize and apply knowledge of Python, SQL, Shell scripting, MATLAB, C++, Embedded C, Airflow, Databricks, Teradata Vantage, Hadoop, GCP, AWS, Azure, Docker, Git, Tableau, Qlik View, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to perform assigned duties;
support and coordinate root‑cause analysis with internal and external suppliers to ensure delivered systems improve user experience via data‑driven reports, signal‑level traces, and related mechanisms; and support the overall development of innovative data analysis methods for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features.

Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Masters – Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree) - Training:
None - Experience:
One (1) year in the position above, as a Data Analyst, as a Data Analyst Assistant, Data Engineer (ETL Developer), as a Graduate Research Assistant, or in a related occupation - Other Requirements:
Experience must include one (1) year’s use of all the following:
Python, GCP, Hadoop, Azure, Tableau, Alteryx, AWS, C++, Git, Embedded C, SQL, and Docker - Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience
