Description

Join one of the fastest-growing areas of our retirement business! The Actuarial Delivery Group (ADG) focuses on operational excellence and systems expertise. As integrated members of client teams, they provide high‑quality and efficient work for Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and post‑retirement welfare plans. Work performed includes annual actuarial funding and accounting valuations, corporate reporting, government forms and special projects.

As an intern within the ADG, you will contribute to a range of retirement valuation and special projects, learn about retirement plans, and apply cutting‑edge tools to complete required projects involving valuation data, government filings, and pension benefit calculations. You will also participate in our robust training program for interns and entry‑level full‑time analysts.

Responsibilities
  • Participate and actively engage in training sessions
  • Perform actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports
  • Perform data analysis and reconciliations of pension plan participant data
  • Perform pension benefit calculations using established spreadsheets or proprietary plan administration system
  • Prepare government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements
  • Support special projects as ad‑hoc needs arise
  • Work with other colleagues to ensure that each project is completed on time and meets quality standards
  • Respond to all requests and communications effectively and efficiently
Qualifications
  • Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other major with significant quantitative coursework, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Current college student (at least sophomore) required, enrolled in a program with heavy quantitative emphasis. Majors may include Actuarial Science, Mathematics, and Statistics
  • Not interested in writing future actuarial exams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, effective time‑management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
  • Strong client delivery orientation
  • Ability to work both independently and on client teams
  • Ability to apply problem‑solving techniques in a business environment
  • Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without visa sponsorship
  • Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree between December 2026 through June 2028
