As a Senior Consultant in Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), you will focus on buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence engagements, including quality of earnings analysis, working capital assessments, and review of accounting policies to evaluate performance sustainability and identify risks. You will research industry and target data, build financial models, analyze financial statements under GAAP, calculate adjustments, prepare reports, present findings, participate in client meetings, assist with project scoping, and support transaction‑oriented accounting and reporting for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts.
- Provide transaction‑oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts
- Prepare detailed financial analysis to assist clients evaluating acquisition decisions
- Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top‑level management to acquire and assess important information for financial analysis
- Develop and review financial forecasts
- Assist with development and review of financial reports to determine quality of historical earnings and assets and liabilities to be acquired
- Assist in preparing proposals and engagement letters
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred
Certifications:
CPA - Minimum 2‑5 years of experience in a Transaction Advisory services practice, an Audit or Consulting practice, or Investment Banking
- Percentage of Completion accounting (POC) or Over‑Time Revenue Recognition experience preferred
- Frequent travel throughout the region, with approximately 20% overnight travel
This position is exempt and may require hours that exceed a standard 40‑hour work week. The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $85,000‑$120,000.
