Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, provides life-support, resuscitation, respiratory treatments, and diagnostic procedures for ICU and general care patients. Responsible for delivering quality patient care and accurate documentation.

• Administer oxygen therapy, medical gases, and ventilator support
• Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
• Respond to emergency and resuscitation situations
• Monitor and document patient response to treatment
• Communicate effectively with physicians and care team
• Supervise and support RT students or staff as assigned
• Complete accurate documentation and billing information

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
• Associate Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
