Payroll Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Southfield, Michigan. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in payroll processing. The role involves utilizing payroll systems and software to ensure precise and timely handling of payroll-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Perform historical corrections in payroll systems, ensuring accurate adjustments within eTIME and Kronos platforms.

- Monitor and manage payroll-related cases, including pulling times adjustment forms and processing corrections.

- Extract garnishment information and upload data into Smart Compliance for further processing.

- Maintain and track garnishment interfaces, ensuring all follow-up details are handled efficiently.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth payroll operations and compliance.

- Review and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.

- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and providing support for employee inquiries.

- Prepare and generate reports related to payroll activities as required.

- Ensure all payroll processes align with legal regulations and organizational standards. Requirements - Proven experience in payroll processing and data management.

- Familiarity with eTIME and Kronos software is essential.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in using payroll-related systems and tools.

- Knowledge of garnishment processes and compliance requirements.

- Effective communication skills to address payroll inquiries and collaborate with team members.
