Job Summary
Provides full lifecycle recruiting to meet advanced practice provider (APP), advanced clinician, psychologist, and APP leadership needs at Corewell Health in southeast Michigan. Builds strong business relationships with clinical and operational leaders, networks to source qualified, diverse applicants, assesses talent to deliver the strongest candidate slates, and provides subject matter expertise in all areas of recruiting. Ensures exceptional experiences for all Corewell Health applicants.
Prefer candidates with APP recruitment experience. May provide direction/training to less experienced recruiters. Must be available to attend onsite meetings periodically; prefer candidates who can assist with candidate site visits in the region (as needed).
Serves as primary contact for all recruitment opportunities in service lines of scope, coordinating with respective administrators and clinical and operational leaders to ensure all steps of the recruitment process are completed appropriately. Provides metrics and regular updates on recruitment efforts to leadership. Develops a thorough knowledge of assigned clinical service lines: strategic business goals, department culture, needs and expectations. Consults and partners with clinical and operational leaders to understand position specific requirements.
Conducts in depth intake sessions to assure expectations are clearly aligned and create a successful sourcing strategy. Provides counsel and advice to clinical and operational leaders regarding job market conditions, competitive challenges, interviewing skills, best practice processes, etc. Coordinates all candidate sourcing, including journal ad placements, job boards, targeted outreach and email campaigns, attending job fairs and society meetings as appropriate, and forwarding on qualified candidate information to appropriate parties for review.
Establishes relationships with candidates and gathers all necessary information and documentation associated with due diligence for employment at Corewell Health. Completes all required applicant tracking steps and stages in Workday. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to think analytically and manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Human Resources, Business, Healthcare related. 5 years of relevant experience in recruiting, staffing, broad range of physician or other difficult to fill positions, innovative sourcing techniques of passive candidates, supervisory, lead recruiter, recruiting physicians, non-physician providers, health care executives, project management, onboarding process, or similarly difficult-to-recruit positions into a complex organization.
Preferred 2 years of relevant experience. Working specifically with physicians or medical practices.
