Sr. Computer Systems Engineer

POSITION DUTIES

Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs using workflow chart and diagram;
Perform revision repair, or expansions for existing programs to increase operating efficiency and adapt new requirements;
Compile and write documentation of program development;
Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to suggest changes.

Provide project management to ensure completion on time, within budget, and within scope of IT security projects. Define project scope, duration, and resources. Responsible for project scheduling, tracking issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting. Plan and coordinate work with teams and business resources. Guide and participate in design and development of security software.

• $99,549.00 per year

• Design and develop solutions to Complex Software Systems problems and system administration issues.
• Perform systems engineering and software systems integration. Identify systems data, hardware, and software components necessary for software systems business requirement needs.
• Communicate with users to understand system business requirements and conduct analysis of such requirements.
• Design and conduct testing of software systems.

Position requires Master’s/equivalent in CS, Computer & Information Science, Computer & Information Systems, or related field and coursework in Object-Oriented Software Engineering, Compiler Design, Analysis of Algorithms, Advanced Operating Systems, Information Security, Data Mining, Mobile Computing, and Enterprise Database Systems & Data Warehouse.

Bachelor’s/equivalent in CS, CIS, or related field and 5 years of IT experience including Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase ASE, IBM DB2, Oracle PL/SQL, MS Visual Studio, PyCharm, Object Pascal, Python, Core Java, Enterprise Architect (UML), MS Visio, Solaris, CVS, VSS, MSTFS, Perforce (P4), Git, UNIX Shell Script, Perl Script, and Autosys.

• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems

• Python Developer with 8years experience in Python
• Experience in core python
• Expertise in Python framework like Django
• Knowledge/Experience in Flask is an advantage
