Infrastructure Engineer (Google Workspace)

Oakland County, Michigan (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite)

$74,000 – $77,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits

We're partnering with a large, mission-driven organization to hire a Google Workspace Infrastructure Engineer focused on managing and optimizing enterprise collaboration and identity platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting and modernizing a Google Workspace environment.

• Administer & optimize Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups, collaboration tools)
• Manage enterprise email systems including routing, security, and performance
• Support identity and access management (Entra , SSO, MFA, DNS)
• Maintain and monitor core infrastructure across cloud and hosted environments
• Develop automation scripts and improve system efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally to support platform integrations and modernization efforts

• 3+ years of experience with Google Workspace administration
• Experience with enterprise email systems
• Strong knowledge of identity / access management (Entra , SSO, MFA)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, security, certificates)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Scripting experience (Power Shell or similar)
• Experience in public sector, education, or large-scale non‑profit environments
• Exposure to virtualization (VMware, etc.)
