Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions. The role includes thorough analysis of business problems, definition of functional and non‑functional requirements, management of those requirements, translation into solution specifications, and verification of fulfillment. The analyst partners with business and technical teams to deliver solutions with respect to value, quality, and user experience, acting as a conduit between IT and customers.
No relocation is offered.
This position requires access to export‑controlled information. In accordance with U.S. export control laws and regulations (ITAR), candidates must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual (refugee or asylee).
Key Accountabilities- Work with stakeholders to define business needs, problems, and scope
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Facilitate discussions with cross‑functional teams
- Develop deliverables such as user stories and process maps
- Clarify and manage in‑scope vs. out‑of‑scope requirements
- Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate solutions and impacts
- Support vendor selection and RFP processes
- Assist in test planning and validation of requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
- 5+ years translating business needs into technical solutions
- Experience documenting requirements across the full project lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- ERP experience, with SAP strongly preferred
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
