Must-Have Skills
  • Good QAD experience in all modules OR at least in Distribution and Finance and good knowledge in Manufacturing.
  • Good Experience in QAD “Application Management Service” type of engagement.
  • Requirement Design, Development and Testing (Unit & Integration) in Progress Open edge.
  • Good Communication and Documentation Skills.
  • Good Analytical and Problem Solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt, learn and resolve recurring incidents.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Knowledge/Experience in one or two QAD Add-on modules like QAD QXtend, QAD Warehouse Management System, QAD Forecasting & Demand Planning System.
  • Experience in Supporting in 24
    * 7 Support model.
Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role
  • Application Functional and Technical support.
  • Incident and Problem Management – Own a specific Incident from initial report to resolution.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop an action plan.
  • Developement of Solution (Minor Enhancement, Bug Fixes etc.).
  • Comply to Change Management and Release management Policies.
  • Participate in Audit & Compliance maintenance activities.
  • Assist team in Updating Knowledge base for known errors and provide guidance on Best practices for ongoing solution development.
  • Participate in technology/ functional meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Updating Knowledgebase/Known Error Database at regular interval.
  • Customer facing for meetings, discussions etc.
