Role Overview
Cloud Infrastructure Tech Lead with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure as Code to lead architecture, design and delivery of secure, scalable cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of Azure-based secure, scalable platforms.
- Provide technical leadership: mentoring, coaching, delegating, reviewing work of team members.
- Define and evolve Azure platform standards, roadmaps, and best practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cloud solutions through architecture decisions, cost considerations, and knowledge transfer.
- Research emerging public cloud technologies and recommend new technologies.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive improvements.
- Apply Fin Ops practices to optimize cloud costs.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and after‑hours maintenance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business or related; preferred but not required.
- 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience, 3+ years in Azure with IaC.
- Proven technical leadership and clear communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with Terraform and deploying Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficient with Azure resources:
App Services, Front Door, Key Vault, Logic Apps, NSG, VMs, VNets, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts. - Knowledge of core networking: subnetting, routing, security best practices.
- Experience designing for high availability using Availability Zones and regional architectures.
- Passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Enterprise, Terraform Cloud, or similar is a plus.
- Experience deploying Azure AI services;
Azure or Hashi Corp certifications are a plus. - Skills in Power Shell and/or Python scripting.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
