Technical Support Phone Support Specialist

Our client, a leader in industrial supply and inventory management solutions, is seeking a Technical Support Phone Support Specialist to join their team. As a Technical Support Phone Support Specialist, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the PC Replacement Project and field service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical problem‑solving ability, and excellent customer service, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Southfield, MI (Onsite)
• Pay Range: $23 - $25/ hour

What’s the Job?
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues for inventory management systems.
  • Provide clear diagnostics, repair guidance, and remote issue resolution to field associates and customers.
  • Use remote access tools to perform investigations and guide users through technical steps.
  • Document issues, solutions, and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain timely, professional communication and deliver high‑quality customer service.
What’s Needed?
  • 3+ years of experience with PC hardware, peripherals, and client/server technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially over the phone.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, RDP, and related network protocols (preferred).
  • Proficiency with remote access tools (VPN, Terminal Services, Team Viewer, RDC).
  • Self‑motivation, attention to detail, and strong time‑management skills.
