Overview
The M365 Copilot Operations Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the firm’s Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio program under the direction of the Copilot Product Owner. The role monitors product changes, executes adoption and reporting processes, and provides Tier 2 support for Copilot-related issues. This is an exempt position, so the employee may work hours that exceed the standard 40‑hour work week.
Responsibilities- Manage Microsoft 365 Copilot license requests, assignments, utilization tracking, and inventory monitoring.
- Maintain Copilot-related content, prompt libraries, and knowledge resources to support user adoption and self‑service.
- Coordinate training sessions, office hours, community engagement, and ambassador support activities across the firm.
- Monitor Microsoft product changes and execute recurring adoption, usage, and reporting processes, including Power BI refreshes and stakeholder communications.
- Provide Tier2 support for Copilot‑related issues, document common solutions, and elevate complex matters when needed.
- Support sandbox provisioning, access management, and onboarding for Copilot Studio makers and other pilot users.
- Maintain agent inventories, publishing coordination, and enablement resources for Copilot Studio solutions.
- Assist with governance, compliance coordination, connector monitoring, and operational documentation under the direction of product and security leaders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Microsoft contacts to support continuous improvement of the firm’s Copilot program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and related Microsoft 365 applications.
- Proficiency with PowerBI, including reporting, data preparation, and refresh processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support training, documentation, and community engagement.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple operational processes.
- Experience with SharePoint content management, Microsoft 365 administration, or user support processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, or workflow automation tools is preferred.
- Understanding of AI, prompt engineering, and adoption or change‑management practices is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams to support a growing enterprise AI program.

CompensationCompensation range: $60,000‑$98,000 across CO, IL, OH, and MA.
