Attorney - Southfield

National litigation law firm headquartered in Southfield is seeking an attorney to join their collaborative team.

Ideal candidate will have a background in insurance defense, plaintiff or property law and over two years of litigation experience. Attorney will be responsible for handling files during the pre-litigation phase, as well as during litigation, including conducting written discovery, preparing motions, handling depositions, and handling trials. Attorney will also need to interact with clients and attend marketing functions.

Candidates should be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, although they may handle matters in other states (pro hac vice admission). Some travel is required, about once a month. Strong writing and communication skills are required.
