Paralegal

Description

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our client's law firm. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in legal processes and claims administration, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex cases while enjoying a flexible work schedule after the initial orientation period.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain case files to ensure all legal documents are accurately recorded and accessible.

- Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation by conducting research and drafting legal documents.

- Support claims administration and tracking to support case resolution.

- Create detailed damage summaries and reports to assist with case assessments.

- Coordinate schedules and deadlines by managing calendars and ensuring timely submissions.

- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate case progress.

- Support the preparation and filing of court documents in compliance with legal regulations.

- Participate in team meetings and discussions to provide updates on case developments.

- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive legal information.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a litigation-focused role.

- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and case management.

- Experience in claims handling and creating damage summaries is advantageous.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with legal research tools and document preparation.
