Senior Infastructure Project Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of our clients in Southfield, MI. This person leads complex, cross-functional IT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with the project lifecycle and quality standards. This role owns end-to-end project execution, including resource, financial, risk, vendor, and change management, while driving process improvements and ensuring business objectives are met.

Other responsbilites include:
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
- Manage vendor contracts, SLAs and POs for the duration of the project.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
- Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
- Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for the requested goods and services
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, etc.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
- Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
- Manage project issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline

$50/hr to $70/hr :
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years of experience partnering with business stakeholders in a cross functional matrix environment
- 5+ years managing infrastructure projects (e.g., networking, security, facilities, cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades)

- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SDLC / Waterfall)
- Bachelors Degree

- PMP certification
