Position Type: Full-Time
The Cardiothoracic Surgical Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight across four practice locations in Novi, Southfield, Rochester, and Detroit. This position is responsible for supervising assigned staff, supporting clinical and administrative operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and service excellence.
The Supervisor will work closely with providers, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to promote a collaborative work environment, maintain compliance with organizational standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across all practice sites.
- Supervise assigned staff in the performance of daily activities and responsibilities across multiple practice locations.
- Coordinate and oversee staff orientation, onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring programs.
- Assist leadership with employee performance evaluations and ongoing performance management processes.
- Monitor staffing needs and workflow to ensure efficient operations and optimal patient experience.
- Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, committees, and work groups focused on operational improvements, quality initiatives, and implementation of new services.
- Serve as a resource for staff by providing guidance, support, and problem resolution.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with providers and leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
- Support organizational goals and strategic initiatives across all assigned locations.
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous supervisory, lead, or healthcare leadership experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent customer service and patient-centered focus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams.
