The Marketing Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing events within the health care and social assistance sector. This position is responsible for coordinating all logistical aspects of events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with industry regulations. The coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to create impactful experiences that enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

By managing timelines, budgets, and communications, the role ensures seamless event delivery that supports marketing strategies and drives community outreach. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within the health care or social assistance industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a health care or social assistance environment with knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
  • Certification in event planning or project management (e.g., CMP, PMP).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms to support event promotion.
  • Ability to analyze event metrics and apply insights to improve future initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and negotiating vendor contracts.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of marketing events including conferences, seminars, health fairs, and community outreach programs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, communications, and clinical teams to align event objectives with organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.

  • Ensure compliance with health care industry regulations and organizational policies during all phases of event planning and execution.
  • Collaborate on marketing materials and promotional campaigns to maximize event attendance and engagement.
  • Provide on-site event support to troubleshoot issues and ensure a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.
