LPN Nurse - $33.90 per hour on afternoon shifts! (Southfield, MI)

Join our team at Lahser Hills Care Center! Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn: $33.90 per hour on afternoon shifts!

  • Starting Wage: $29.00 per hour
  • PLUS $3.40 per hour hero pay
  • PLUS $1.25 per hour Shift Premium for Afternoon Shifts

Scheduling
  • 8‑hour shifts – all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
  • Full Time or Part Time (Afternoon Shifts)
Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
  • Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiological and psychosocial well‑being of patients.
  • Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors, fostering a positive and healing environment.
  • Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
Qualifications
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan and current CPR‑BLS certification.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
  • High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to challenging problems concerning well‑being.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering passionate and innovative care.
  • Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
