GENERAL
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
Also, the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

Located in Southfield, Michigan, Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is a comprehensive acute care and teaching hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered healthcare.
The hospital features a 25-bed Acute Psychiatric Care Unit providing comprehensive inpatient behavioral health services for adults ages 18 and older, and is the only hospital within the health system to receive a 4-Star CMS Quality Rating.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Two years RN experience.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
REQUIRED:
- Current RN license in the State of Michigan
- BCLS/ACLS per unit's standard
- Certifications appropriate for specific unit.
