Assistant Manager

Snipes - 24723 Southfield Road - Responsibilities:
Fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager;
Ensure store meets Company standards for cleanliness on the sales floor and in the stockroom;
Set up sales/promotions with proper signing in a timely manner;
Process register functions and ensure proper following of procedures;
Demonstrate timely execution of floor set guides and promotions;
Direct and maintain merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards;
Recognize customer merchandise needs and assess whether assortment meets those needs;
Assist with markdowns and transfers to complete them in a timely manner;
Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability to meet or exceed goals;
Communicate store operational goals and directives to maximize team contributions;
Monitor and evaluate individual performance in sales volume, hourly production, units per transaction, charge accounts and loss prevention;
Train associates in appropriate register and Aptos functions;
Ensure the securing of Company funds as per Company policy
